Sundays in Paris

First thing you do is............ Smell the Roses

Your choice is then to.......... join a queue
OR
GO TO

AND ..................................

Go Rollerblading

Then you can  say bye bye to all that Testosterone and  sniff the air of refinement and head for the St. Germain Des Pres  Annual Art exposition where the galleries open for special exhibitions with many offering wine and nibblies to lure you in .

Hmmm could look nice in your living room!

Perhaps  this work of art could impress you bike nuts?

These guys ..one on the left..French and one on the right Argentinian are into painting with wine.  No not drinking ...Painting

Everyone here is waiting

Yes ...him tooo

They're all waiting!

.........and them

.............and here they come

It is explained to me by the owner of this gallery that the performance is about women and their struggle of existence with bringing up children , working, staying pretty.....he lost me there!
However It went for 30 minutes a was quite interesting and held me there for the 30 minutes. Although , Iam not sure  what was more interesting the arty farty crowd of the act itself.

There were some serious photographers

Serious fashionistas

Is he giving me the eye????

.......and some serious cigars!

However , the show must go on.....

and then its over....

meet the cast

scatter

........then find somewhere cosy for cafe creme

or queue for icecream

Then head back over Pont Neuf

be entertained by the street artists

Just in time to catch the 6.30pm mass at Notre-Dame celebrated by Cardinal Andre VINGT-TROIS , Achbishop of Paris
A special comment has to go to the Organist for this mass Olivier Latry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olivier_Latry. It felt as though all of Paris would have heard his magnificent performance ...it was an amazing experience.
